
He's a rail enthusiast who specialises in Swiss railways.

All his shots are in moody black and white.

There isn't much sun in this world, just a sense of purposefulness.

I'm not a huge fan of the aesthetics of the dominant style of Swiss loco.

They always look a bit bloated to me.

But this chap makes them look sleek and determined.

Of course, they are no match for the aesthetics of the TGV:

Even so, there is something about this photographer that enables him to capture them in a way that makes everything feel as if it's in its right place.
