Is it or isn't it?

I keep featuring this guy's work because I can't stop myself.

He's now come up with this, another triumphant photoshoot featuring a naked straight guy looking uncomfortable.

His models always feel real, almost palpable.

One of my readers thinks I'm writing garbage, and that this work is not pornographic -- on the grounds that it is not sexually stimulating.

I struggle with that view. These photos strike me as some of the most vital, sexually-charged images that appear on here, far more erotic than most of the soft industrial porn I post.

Maybe that's wrong: maybe porn is about fantasy and soft focus and romance and... No, surely that can't be right?

I dunno: I just love this guy's work, and I wish I could take pictures like these.

I have to agree with you, I like these photos. I think though the subject may not be trying to "pose" for sexual pictures, that they're very sexual exactly for that reason. Beside the next to last seems he not so uncomfortable anymore.

I think it's a case of each to his own. I don't find them 'sexual' accept for the last but one where he has an erection. Probably not important to categorise picture as porn or not except in the context of censorship. People are turned on by all manner of different things which I don't understand - gas masks came to mind, I don't know why? Socieity is probably too hung up on categorising sexuality and labelling everything. We should just be whatever we are and some of us are more unique than others and don't fit a label (I'm talking more about me here rather than you. I'm sure there are many who are turned on by these pictures).
