Winter always makes me whiney.
So I figured a handful of my photos taken in sunnier times would cheer me up.
And they are rather cheering, aren't they?

Summer sunshine? There was none this year, remember? Or were you away on one of your jaunts during July and August when the rest of us shivered and whitened?

Those pics are a triumph - the last one especially so. I know it's the man behind it who really matters, but out of interest what camera do you use? And if it's a pocketable digital does it have a 'proper' viewfinder?

Although it's now been superseded by the FZ28, both cameras use glorious Leica lenses and have extraordinary zooms. I'm rubbish at the technology of photography and most of the time let the camera deal with that stuff: I focus on the framing. I also find that, if I take enough photos, one or two of them won't turn out to be too shoddy.
And yes, both cameras have "proper" viewfinders.
I come to your pages of wonder for 3 of my favourite things: Cock, trains, and the beautiful outdoors.
Happily, you deliver on all counts. Now if we could just get hold of a picture with all 3 together...;-)
