Starring the very lovely Michael Cassidy (who went on to play a sex toy in cult show The OC), Dare was a sweet, engrossing, sexy film.

(But you ought to buy it on DVD -- the picture quality is vastly better.)
Anyway, the director, Adam Salky, has now streeeeeeetched it into a full-length movie, for which this is the trailer:
I'm not getting a good feeling from that trailer (the presence of both Alan Cumming and Sandra Bernhard notwithstanding).
Still, it's one of the less porno-looking films at next month's London Lesbian & Gay Film Festival, so I may give it a shot.
For old time's sake.
Even if all the 17 year old characters look closer in age to the 30 year old actors who are playing them...

the actor in photo above, zach Gilford, was in the American TV series, Friday Night Lights-a brilliant but short lived program that didn't get the required ratings-must always appeal to the lowest common denominator
